Biography

Ruth G. Richardson was born in Washington D. C.  She is a widow and mother of one son, Arthur William Boler. She now resides in Carnegie, PA.  Ms. Richardson retired in April 1991 as Excutive Director of Three Rivers Youth Inc. (Pittsburgh).  She has served as an administrator in the field of social work serving families, children, youth and communities for the past 45 years. 

During this time, Ms. Richardson cultivated her interest in the arts by combining the expressive arts and social work, using her talents on behalf of the communities she served, and developing her painting skills part-time.  Ms. Richardson is currently painting and exhibiting from her studio in Carnegie.
